Laid back, or easy going. That is how I would describe myself. However, when it comes to creating something, I am a perfectionist, passionate and obsessed. My favorite subjects: home and family. That is my motivation. My husband will tell you that I have, and will, drive miles upon miles to find whatever it is that I need to complete a project.
Creating beauty and memories in a home is what I love.
For years, I have had a tremendous appreciation and love for beautiful pictures . Early in my marriage, our first big investment was not a nice cozy couch, or comfortable mattress, but a professional medium format camera. At times I thought we were crazy!
With this camera came all the film and developing. Can I say, small fortune. For married students, it was. But, my husband, Shawn, loved to hike and take pictures of the outdoors. For a short period of time, that was this camera’s function. Then, we had our first child, and our priorities changed. He was the technical side, and I was the creative mind. Our love became taking pictures of our family and children, and then other families. And so it remains today.
I love photography. I love the art and beauty of it. I love assisting in documenting someone’s greatest treasure: their family. I love capturing the uniqueness, personality, realism and beauty in others. I love being a part of something that is truly priceless. I love creating images that will make you smile or laugh each day. And because I love it, I will invest all of my heart and talents into creating something unique and special to you.
